Farheen Kanwal is a 35-year-old Pakistani artist based in Saudi Arabia.over the past 11 years her work practice has consist of creating landscape and cityscapes, which she recently started distorting in her personal narrative.
Through distorted fragments of my previous paintings, I capture the reshaping of vision—both literal and
metaphorical—turning challenges into beauty.
Moments of blurred vision once felt overwhelming, yet they taught me resilience and gratitude. The light
And galaxy motifs in my work symbolize this inner peace and the beauty found in imperfection.
I hope my art sparks conversations about vulnerability, acceptance, and finding grace in life’s challenges.
I sometimes see the world in shifting, abstract ways because of how my vision works. Instead of painting things
Exactly as they are, I paint how they feel to me. My art is about turning those emotional moments—light,
memory, space—into something visual. For me, abstraction isn’t just a style; it’s how I make sense of what I
